


The women and children participated in the rallies. In Nawabshah, various rallies were taken out to mark the day. The main function was held outside the local press club. Women and children also took part in the rallies. They marched through various roads and danced on the tunes of cultural songs. In Sukkur, Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, Sindh United Party and other social groups took out rallies. The Muttahida Qaumi Movement also organized a program to celebrated the day in PIB Colony in which people were wearing Ajrak and Sindhi cap to brighten the culture of Sindh and its soil. They were singing songs of Sindh culture and dancing. Various political and nationalist parties, including Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, Sindh United Party, Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, took out rallies from different parts of the city and reached the press club. Rallies and programs were also held in Sukkur, Larkana, Thatta, Hyderabad, Nawabshah and other cities and towns of Sindh. In Karachi, a colorful programme was held outside the Karachi Press Club in which a large number of people, including those belonging to different political and social parties participated. Rallies and colorful programs were held to highlight the centuries-old rich culture of the province. KARACHI: Sindhi Cultural Day was celebrated across Sindh province including Karachi with enthusiasm and fervor.
